Paintings
- What kind of paintings can I request?
-
You can request any painting based on a photograph of decent quality, guaranteed.
If you aren’t interested in a painting based off a photo, worry not. If you explain the concept you have in mind, I can work out a sketch and we can work together to achieve your idea. Although I only accept commissions for paintings at the moment, I have a design and composition background as well.
- Okay, but what kind of paintings do you usually do for people?
-
I paint a lot of dogs, cats, people, children, and family photos.
- How does it work?
-
You can contact me on Facebook, on Instagram, or through the commissions inquiry form.
We can discuss your painting and decide what pictures to use as well as other preferences, and then we’ll work out the price, time frame, and how I can get it to you. We’ll come up with a plan. I have a few commissions lined up at a time, so when I get ready to begin yours I will contact you again.
When I’m ready, I will start it (sketch, preliminary coloring on canvas) and send you a picture. At this time I will accept payment.
I will keep you updated on the process of your painting to make sure you’re satisfied with the results.
When it’s finished, I’ll send you a picture. The painting is yours!
- What if I don’t like it? Can I pay you after I see the painting?
-
No, sorry. I receive payment in full as soon as I start the canvas work. In cases of more complicated/huge/expensive paintings, there may be exceptions, and we can discuss that.
There’s no need to worry– we’ll discuss the painting while it’s in progress to make sure you like it in the end! You can check out my portfolio to see if my style is what you’re looking for.
- How much does it cost?
-
See the price list below. For more information, use the Contact Form.
- What happens if I’m waitlisted?
-
When I have too many commissions in queue, I have to stop accepting them or I’ll get overwhelmed and explode. In such a case, you have the option to be waitlisted. We can discuss the basic idea of our project, and I’ll let you know how long it will be before I can start it. I’d rather wait until then to get photos and details.
